Obituary of Lowell R. Deem
Lowell R. (Rusty) Deem Jr., passed away January 27, 2013, at the age of 65. He was a life resident of Akron and retired from Denman Tire. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Preceded in death by parents Lowell and Mary Deem; nephew Rocky, niece Donna; he is survived by his loving wife, Karen; son, Russ; step-children, James, Amelia, and Daniel; sisters Mary Anne Reiber (Rex) and Darlene Thornton (John); granddaughter, Keira; grandson, Cash; and good friends Keith & Terri Hetzel, Mike and Janice Sudia. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Lil Bit.
Rusty enjoyed gardening, fishing, the beach, poker, parties, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a dedicated Indians and Browns fan. Rusty loved to read and listen to music, as well.
A memorial service will be held at Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 1:00 Pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron with Pastor Joseph Lee officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to services.
