I wanted to express my deepest condolences for your loss. I attend the Kingdom Hall where Kathy did. May you find comfort in our Heavenly Father, the 'hearer of prayer', as well as the promise from his word the bible of a resurrection. Psalm 65:2, Acts 24:15.
The day will come when you will see Kathy again. Where 'death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore'. (Revelation 21:4) Instead of a brief life filled with pain, we can enjoy an endless life! (Psalm 37:29)
Until then, remember that our God hates death, and views it as an enemy. This was not what he wanted for Kathy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Rather, 'God is love' and cares deeply about you and your suffering. -1 John 4:8; 1 Peter 5:7.
The article "When a Loved One Dies" has brought me comfort, and I pray it will give you some comfort during this difficult time.
