Obituary of Albert J. Dascoli

Albert (Al) Dascoli, 90, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. Al was born in Ashtabula on July 12, 1926 to the late John & Ida Dascoli. He served in the Army during WWII and worked as a carpenter until he retired in 1998. Al married Adrienne Whipkey in 1955 and moved to Akron where they now reside. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by infant son Stephen; sister Caroline Peterangelo; and brothers Carl, John & William. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 61 years, Adrienne; son Albert II; daughters Kathleen Dascoli & Luwona (Paul) Wilkinson; sisters Camille Dapp & Isabel Mariotti; and grandchildren Nathan (Ashlee), Rachael and David Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 20 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel, 2580 Romig Road in Akron, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service; Pastor Rick Gordon officiating.
