Obituary of Catherine Bryson

Annie Catherine Kelly Bryson, 94, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. Catherine was born May 2, 1922 to James P. and Annie Catherine (Larkin) Kelly Sr. in Louisville KY, attended the University of Louisville and had been a resident of the Canton area since 1941. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant at B & W retiring in 1986. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church since 1982 where she attended daily Mass and the daily rosary group. In addition to her parents Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John F. Bryson Sr. in 1995; and her brothers James P., John E. and William J. Kelly. She is survived by her children John F. (Cindy) Bryson Jr., Kathleen Bryson, Hollie Bryson and James Kelly Bryson; grandson Jason He Bryson and her 'best' friend Speedy; many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family is grateful to Bethany Nursing Home and Mercy Medical Hospice for their dedicated and tender care of Catherine. The family will receive friends Sunday 2 to 5 pm at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Massillon and Steese Rds. In Green, entrance off of Steese Rd.). Funeral services will begin Monday at 10:45 Am at the funeral home and proceed at 11:00 Am to Queen of Heaven Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685 for a Mass of Christian Burial.
