Obituary of Robert Bibighaus
Robert Bibighaus of Green, 78, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Bob was a snowbird, spending winters in Bradenton, FL. He loved to play guitar and sing—Bob played in a gospel group in Florida.He taught for Akron Public Schools for 30 years. Passionate about sports, Bob was a beloved soccer coach for several APS teams, including Kenmore & Garfield, as well as many club teams.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Virginia; parents David & Helen; and brother Fred. He is survived by his children Roberta (Rob) Eddy, Randall (Esther), Rebecca (Ron) Craft, Rachael (Nolan) Jatich, & Richard (Karol); 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; his dear companion Janet Twigg, and her family with whom Bob had closely bonded: children Karen (Woody) McDaniel, Ronda (Gary) Marx, & Kirby (Kay) Twigg; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Wednesday, July 13 at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Rd, Uniontown 44685 (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads, entrance off of Steese). Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
