Obituary of Edward Anthony Brandt
Edward ("Ted", "Ed") Anthony Brandt
Edward Anthony Brandt, 59, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013.
Ted was born April 21, 1953 and was raised in the Akron/Kenmore area. He attended school at Immaculate Conception School in Kenmore and graduated from Hower High School in Akron. Ted was a Veteran of the U.S. Army of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, the V.F.W., and the Orioles. "Ed" will always be remembered by his many, many friends with whom he absolutely enjoyed seeing, entertaining and celebrating with at his bar "Delights Inn I and II" on Waterloo Road. Everyone enjoyed Ed's hosting of the dart tournaments, karaoke, turkey shoots, playing pool and having a place where friends could gather and relax. Ed's mother, Jackie was known as "Mom" to everyone at the bar. She passed away on January 5, 2013 and is probably getting "Delights Inn III" ready for him to manage and where the dart tournaments will never end. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the caring staff of Crossroads Hospice in Green, for their kindness, support and professional care of our dad and brother, Ted.
