Having just learned of Mr. Stofsiks' passing, (2 yrs ago) I couldn't let THIS day pass without leaving at least some semblance of the fondness and admiration I felt for him during my '67 HS years. He was a truly fine educator of not only history/ soc.studies, but of LIFE, and living~~ all that wasn't in the textbooks! Anyway, please know that Your loved one led a very rewarding life,at least from this students` point of view. Godspeed,and God Bless You, Stephen Stofsik... and thank you...

He was a great teacher, so nice and friendly. He also had a sense of humor too. Glad he was one of the great teachers of Hudson and mine.

Many condolences to all the Stofsick family. I had the extreme pleasure of having Mr. Stofsick as a teacher at Hudson High. He taught me much, much more than the subject matter. His wonderful sense of humor made learning fun and exciting. He is one of the reasons that I chose to become a history teacher. Mr. Stofsick was a longtime friend of my parents, Ray (Buck) and Jerry Hyser. Mom grew up with him at Goodyear Heights and Buck taught with Mr. Stofsick all those years at HHS. My brothers and I loved hearing his stories of riding horses in the US Calvary, plus other soldier adventures! You all can be very proud of the wonderful life that Mr. Stofsick has had, he has contributed enormously to young people at Hudson. My prayers are with you all!
