Obituary of Thomas Telea

Thomas Telea, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2016. Born in Akron on September 20, 1934 to the late Toma & Paraschiva Telea, Tom was a graduate of Hower Trade School and served his country as a member of the US Navy. He retired as a rubber worker from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in 1990 with 39 years of service. A loving father and grandfather, Tom was preceded in death by his son Gregory Thomas Telea in 2006. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years Clara; grandsons Nathan & Nicholas (Christina) Telea; sister Mary Pogany; daughter-in-law Mary (John) Bascic, as well as nieces & nephews. A funeral service will take place on Saturday 12:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of the service.
