Obituary of Susan Domenica Pantuso

Susan Pantuso 91, passed away on March 16, at AlterCare in Hartville. Born in Akron on September 19, 1924 to the late Michael & Carmella Giustino, Susan was a lifetime Akron resident and a 1946 graduate of Garfield High School. For many years Susan proudly operated the Suzy-Q Confectionery in Akron. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and formerly St. Sebastian Church, both in Akron. Susan came from a large family and always enjoyed spending time with her loving brothers, sisters, and extended family. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her sister Mary Taffi and brothers James, Rocco, Daniel, Nick, Orlando, and John Giustino. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Sam & Denice Pantuso of Uniontown; granddaughters Maria & Jamie Pantuso; sisters Rose Bogich and Josephine Majewsky, as well as many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2-5 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Pfeiffer on Monday, 10 am, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. in Akron.
