Obituary of Patricia Ann Meredith

GREEN - Patricia Meredith, 80, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center. Pat was born June 18, 1935 to Thomas and Mary (O'Leary) Pifer in Akron and moved to Green in 1989.She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the Women's Group and Young at Heart. She was also a member of Lifestyles of Green.She was bowler for many years and played cards with her Ladies Euchre Club. Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years Cliff; daughters Stacey (Bob) Carnahan and Kristie (Michael) Berish; grandchildren Neil and Eve Berish; sisters Bobbie Doria and Sandi (Ron) Culbertson. Sister In-law Agnes McDonald. She was preceded in death by her siblings Nancy Wood and Jim Pifer. Pat was the Matriarch of her family. In addition to her immediate family, she was deeply loved by cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. She never knew a stranger. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 to 8 pm at the Anthony and Son Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (corner of Massillon and Steese Roads in Green, entrance off Steese). A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 10:30 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown OH 44685. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
