Obituary of Shirley Jo Ujhazy

Shirley Jo Ujhazy (Wein) -GREEN Shirley Jo Ujhazy, 87, passed away on February 7, 2016 at Pebble Creek Care Center. Shirley was born in Akron, OH on Leap Year in 1928. She worked for the Summit Federal Credit Union for over 25 years. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 1997 and her sisters Norma Gohlke & Pat Wein. She is survived by her children Judy (Ray) Smeiles, Eddie (Pam) & Stuart (Melanie) Ujhazy; grandchildren Candie, Eddie (Michele), & Tyler Ujhazy and Dusty McAbee, Benjamin (Jamie) & Rebekkah Smeiles, & Brenton Ujhazy; 9 great-grandchildren; special friends Jack, Jan, & Doris. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 12, at 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 1800 Steese Rd. in Green, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Private inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to he charity of your choice or to the Queen of Heaven Rosary Makers.
