Obituary of Wilma Jean Piscitelli

"Our Loving Mother" Wilma "Jean" Piscitelli, 82, passed away January 9, 2013, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Jean was born February 23, 1930, to Harry and Sadie (Nichols) Hardman in Akron and had been a resident of Green for the past 35 years. Jean was preceded in death by her son, Larry Piscitelli, grandson, Patrick Epner and brothers, Paul and Harry Hardman, Jr. She is survived by her loving and dedicated partner Joseph Hartz; son, John (Lynn) Piscitelli; daughter, Linda (Daniel) Luff; daughter-in-law, Pam (Bob) Lyren; sister, Shirley Brown; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren. Words cannot express our gratitude to Jennifer Meyer and Amy Noall for their loving, tender care of our mother. We also sincerely thank the staff of VNS Hospice. Mom dedicated much of her life to the care of family members in need. Her mother and father, her brother, and most especially her son, Larry, were blessed with her loving care. She loved spending many vacations with her children and grandchildren in Florida and we all admired her more than "spunky" spirit. We love you, mama. Rest in peace. Private funeral services were held Saturday with the internment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn OH 44333.
