Obituary of Jo Ann Kilroy

Jo Ann Kilroy, 77, passed away on February 11, at the Hospice of Medina County. Born in Johnstown, PA on July 26, 1934 to the late Robert & Rita Quigley, Jo Ann had been a Barberton resident for almost 45 years. She was a 1955 graduate of the St. Thomas School of Nursing and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents Robert & Rita Quigley, grandson Patrick Kilroy, and sister Rita Orihel, Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John (Jack); children Beth (Peter) Anthony, Michael (Christina) Kilroy, Deborah (Blaine) Love, & Patricia (Gus) Karos, as well as 16 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren; sister Carol (Thad) Purdue. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Barberton. Interment will take place on Thursday at 10:00 am at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mill Creek Children's Center, 44 Essex St. Youngstown, OH 44502.
