Obituary of Ralph D. Dannemiller
Ralph D. (Bud) Dannemiller, 94, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013.
He was born in Cuyahoga Falls and was a graduate of Falls High Class of 1937. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a retired Director of Operations Executive from Lawsons. He enjoyed sports, especially golf; and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving during World War II. He was a devoted veteran and very proud of his service to his country. He was a Tank Commander on D-Day receiving five bronze stars.
Mr. Dannemiller was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Katherine; wife, Margaret; and sons, Ralph David, II and Thomas Owen Dannemiller. He is survived by grandchildren, Teresa Dannemiller, Thomas (Rachel) Dannemiller and Tamara McClellan; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls.
