Obituary of Eleanor Johnson

Eleanor Johnson, 81, fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was born in Akron and was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna (Gyza) Woytovich; and brother, John Woytovich. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Carl and Lorraine Johnson and Chris Johnson; sister-in-law, Anna Woytovich; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave. (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260 where Eleanor will lie in state one hour prior to service. Very Rev. Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. AT THE CHURCH where a Parastas service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the church.
