Obituary of Anthony Thomas Antognoli
Anthony Thomas Antognoli passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, December 19th, 2011.
Anthony was employed at Testa Builders for over 25 years. His greatest moments were hanging out with his family and friends, sitting by the campfire. Nothing made him happier than to be at the family camp in Pennsylvania with his family, friends and his loyal dog Auggie. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved playing cards with his friends and family. One of his proudest moments was watching his son play baseball. And his grandson was his greatest joy. Music was his passion…the greatest Don Henley fan that ever lived!
He is survived by wife Cheryl Antognoli, son Santino Antognoli, daughters Marissa Antognoli, Tina Antognoli, Heather MacNaughton, Rachel MacNaughton, grandson Nicholas Thomas Vargo, father Angelo Antognoli, mother Sally Antognoli, sisters Rita Hudson, Angela Geitgey, Anna Racano Antognoli, Marie Fekete, and Michelle Antognoli and brother Mark Antognoli.
Known as "The Ton", he was the greatest son, father, husband, grandfather, brother and friend who ever lived. Very much loved by all who knew him. He will be missed by many more than he ever knew. He could never be duplicated. He lived life the way he wanted. As you were Dad! As you were!
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 6 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
