Obituary of Bernadine Wykoff

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Bernadine Coletta Wykoff, 91, passed away on December 23 at Heather Knoll in Tallmadge. Born in Akron on November 16, 1921 to the late Frank & Margaret Honeywell, Bernadine had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for over 60 years. She was a 1939 graduate of St. Vincent High School and had worked for many years at the Cuyahoga Falls Country place Care Center. Bernadine was a founding member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she had volunteered as a sacristan. In addition to her parents, Bernadine was preceded in death by her husband Eugene in 1976; daughter Diane Diss & grandson Jeff Diss; sister Mary Marshall. She is survived by her children Bonnie (Ralph) Harwell of Tallmadge & Vincent (Lori) Wykoff of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren Matthew (Kathy) & Rachel Wykoff; great-granddaughter Lilly. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home MCGOWAN-REID & SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (at 3rd. St., one block north of Portage Trail) in Cuyahoga Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 12:30 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1905 Portage Trail in the Falls. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Fr. McIntyre Fund c/o Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
