Obituary of Betty J. Bohnstedt

Betty J. Bohnstedt, 89, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011. She was born in Akron and was a member of Life Spring Christian Church. She enjoyed making wood crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Rena King; husband, Lawrence D.; and great-grandson, Angel Gudino Shaffer. She is survived by daughters, Linda Bohnstedt, Judi Allen, Sue (John) Brosovic and Brenda Shaffer; grandchildren, Jim (Brittany) Allen, Chris Brosovic, Melissa (Thomas) Blair and Mike, Eric, Sarah and Kyle Shaffer; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Martin. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Rev. Terry Baker officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Life Spring Christian Church of Akron, 1828 Marigold Ave. Akron, Ohio 44301.
