Obituary of Thomas John Marcius
Thomas Marcius, 52, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011. Tom was born May 19, 1959 to Joseph J. and Elizabeth (Yenchik) Marcius in Akron and had been an Akron area resident his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; mother Elizabeth Marcius; siblings Elaine, Joanne and Joseph (Nancy) Marcius; niece Chelsia Marcius; step children Miranda (Mike) Osborne; Kyle Garrett and Adriona Ball; grandchildren Bailey, Ethan and Kaitlyn Osborne and Brennan Garrett. Tom was employed by Schwebel Bakery for 30 years and was a self-employed farrier. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved fishing, hunting and everything outdoors.
Tom will be remembered for his great laughter and zest for life. He touched the hearts of many with his hugs and kindness. Tom expressed his faith in Jesus openly, leaving a great impact on those around him. Tom loved his family and was a devoted friend. He will be missed by many.
Remembrance Service will be held Monday 7:00PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Please bring a memory of Tom to share.
