Obituary of Louise K. Konich

Louise K. Konich, 90, died Saturday, November 26, 2011. She was born in Spangler, Pennsylvania and was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, the 3rd Order of St. Dominic and the Church Altar and Rosary Society. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother for 10 years, a Girl Scout Religious Adviser and an avid quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard S. Konich, Sr.; sons, Ronald G. and Terry M. Konich; parents, Alvin and Pearl Fongheiser; brothers, John, Walter, Jim and Dick; and sisters, Philamina, Rita, Mary and Eleanor. She is survived by sons, Tim (Cindy Lou), John (Miki), Leonard S., Jr. (Merilee), Thomas G. (Rosemary) and Jeffrey A. (Cindy) Konich; daughters, Mary L. (Eugene) King and Michele A. (Frank) Simmons; daughter-in-law, Ann Konich; sister, Dorothy (Bill) Zoltai; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Requiem High Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. (PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH) Fr. Gregory Drahman, CMRI officiating.
