Obituary of Tina Schueller
Tina Schueller (Fouts), 86, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 15, 2011, after a long illness.
She was born on October 12, 1925, in Dresden, Ohio. She departed from this life and was taken home to God who gave her life. She is now in a state of happiness where she is no longer suffering from her trials and the illness that has slowly taken her from us. She was a life-long member of the Akron First Seventh-day Adventist Church at Waterloo Rd in Akron.
Tina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings. She was a good cook and prided herself in making the best apple crisp - which she lovingly shared with family and friends. Tina was proud to have worked at Firestone, as a "Rosie The Riveter" During WWII and Crest Bakery prior to raising six children. She dedicated her life to being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and homemaker. She freely gave everyone unconditional love and they enjoyed her easygoing ways and sense of humor.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Letitia and William Fouts, great-granddaughter, Emily Clark, and numerous brothers and sisters.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 64 years, George Schueller; sons, George (Bev); Dave (Judy); Tom (Donna); Robert (Robyn); daughters, Mary (David) Saffles, Carol (Dave) Cuffman; Eight grandchildren - Julie (Rob) Clark; Jennie (Nick) Jamison; Paul Schueller, Scott Schueller, Trent Schueller, Amy (Brian) Herchek, Lisa Schueller, David Ryan Saffles ; She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Briana, Katie, Ryan, Mikayla, Nicholas, Cecily, Ewen, Madeline, and Riley; sister Grace McBride-Williams, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends TODAY from 4-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 pm at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 655 E. Waterloo Rd. in Akron, where the family will again receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
