Obituary of Myrtle M. Cook
CUYAHOGA FALLS -
Myrtle M. Cook (Allaman), age 99, died November 11, 2011
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio she was a 1930 graduate of Falls High. She
worked at Ohio Edison, Firestone Tire and Rubber, and retired from US
Gasket and Shim in 1977. Myrtle did volunteer work for 17 years at the
Quirk Senior Center in Cuyahoga Falls. She traveled to all 50 states,
many foreign countries and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church
since 1918.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Herbert C.
Allaman; husband of 8 years, James R. Cook; mother, Anna Motznik;
father, John Motznik; sister, Margaret Etter; and sister, Verna Wyner.
She is survived by son, Charles Allaman, wife Diana; son, Michael
Allaman; grandson, Allen Allaman; and granddaughter, Clara Allaman.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 11 a.m., at
Redeemer Lutheran Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 2141 5th St., where family
and friends may call one hour prior to service. Pastors Keith Johnson
and Ryan Honeycutt officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Donations
