Obituary of Mary Helen Handley

Mary Helen Handley, 64, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born February 4, 1947 to John and Helen (Kovac) Handley in Akron and has been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for her entire life. Mary was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and a longtime member of the church choir. Mary is survived by her siblings George (Angela) Handley, Ruth Handley, Barbara (William) Zimmerman and Becky Handley; nieces Robin (Tim) Ferguson, Penny (Johnny) Dobson, Dawn Handley, Tiffany (Wes) Handley, and Ann Marie Zimmerman; nephews Dr. Devin (Omna) Handley, Bobbie Zimmerman and David (Samantha) Zimmerman; several great nieces and nephews; and was preceded in death by her niece Brenda Handley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated SATURDAY (PLEASE NOTE CORRECTION) at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 pm at Anthony Funeral Home McGOWAN-REID and SANTOS CHAPEL 247 Stow Ave. (on Third St. one block north of Portage Trail).
