Obituary of Mary A. Benfield

Mary A. Benfield, 83, passed away suddenly from complications due to a stroke on Friday, October 14, 2011. She was born in Ripley, West Virginia and was a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She was an LPN at St. Thomas Hospital with 20 years of service retiring in 1993. She was preceded in death by her son, Randall; and is survived by daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Randy) Hushour, Robin (Edward) Hindel and Rebecca (Carl) Stanovic; son, Richard Benfield; grandchildren, April Stanovic, Tyler Hushour and Ryan (Frannie) and Kelly Post; great-grandchild, Landon Post; and sister, Reva Hopkins. Funeral service will be held Monday, 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (one block North of Portage Trail at 3rd St.) in Cuyahoga Falls where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pastor Kevin Horak officiating.
