Obituary of John Kreptowski

John Kreptowski III Cadiz-John Kreptowski, 29, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 8, 2011 at his home. John was born July 22, 1982 to John and Christina (Zuravel) Kreptowski, Jr. in Akron. His children John IV and Jakob were his pride and joy. His second love was anything outdoors. He hunted and fished raised goats, chickens and pigs and loved keeping birds. He couldn't resist a livestock auction and was a member of Ohio Game and Fish. No matter the occasion, John could make anyone laugh was generous with his million dollar smile. In addition to his children and his parents, John is survived by his grandfather John Kreptowski, Sr.; siblings Michael, Ashley and Brandon Kreptowski; aunts and uncles Alice (Rob) Ramian who are also his godparents, Marianne (Rick) Rogers, Rosanne (Bob) Holliday, Dr. DeeDee Kreptowski, Laura (John) Miller, Jeanette (Fred) Johnson, Danny, Joe (Jennifer), Paul (Laurie) and James Zuravel and Julie (Louis) Natoli; ex-wife Cathy; and was preceded in death by his grandparents Alice Kreptowski and Daniel and Ursula Zuravel; aunt Julie DiMario and cousin Jonathan. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:15 am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, Ohio 44301 and 11:00am at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
