Obituary of Joseph Natko
Joseph Natko, Jr., 95, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2011.
He was born in Akron and was a graduate of Central High School. He retired from the Maurice A. Knight Chemical Products Company in 1980 as Plant Superintendent after 46 1/2 years of service. Mr. Natko was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. After retirement in 1980 he moved to California and returned to Ohio in 1988. Also after retirement he built and lived in 3 homes; 1 in California and 2 in Akron.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years of marriage, Pauline; brother, Walter Hnatko; and sister, Elma Burger. He is survived by his sons, Joseph C., III (Mary) Natko of Mogadore, Michael (Carol) Natko of Cape Coral, Florida and Richard Natko of Akron; grandchildren, Joseph C., IV (Melissa), David (Stefania), Lauri, Alex and John Natko all of Akron, Melissa (Rick) Heinrich of North Carolina and Rosemary (James) Foltz of Nevada; 11 great-grandchildren; and special sister-in-law, Betty Hnatko of Akron.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church. (PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH). Fr. Robert Stash officiating. Interment at St. Michael Cemetery. The family will receive friends TONIGHT from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S.
