Obituary of Alicia Burge-Jones

Alicia Renee (Burge) Jones passed away Friday, September 2, in Goldsboro, NC. A native of Akron, she was the daughter of Kevin (Stephanie) Burge and Michelle Sharrer. Alicia was a homemaker and had a deep love for her family. She received great pleasure from singing, motorcycling, and scuba diving. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband David Jones and her sons Brandon & Kevin; sisters Anna, Justine, and Emma, as well as a great-grandmother, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, and many friends. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 11:00 am, at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery, 1080 W. Waterloo Rd. in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation 6520 N. Andrews Ave. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309-2130.
