Obituary of Josephine P. Kane

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Josephine Kane, 95 passed away peacefully on December 11, in Worthington, Ohio. Born in Buffalo, NY on January 13, 1917 to the late Peter and Nellie Subik, Josephine had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for over 60 years, before moving to the Columbus area to be closer to family. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She also was an avid bridge player at the Cuyahoga Falls Women's City Club for years and volunteered countless hours to Children's Hospital making "Pinky Puppets" for sick children. In addition to her parents, Josephine "Jo" was preceded in death by her husband George in 2008. She is survived by her son Robert (Lorraine) Kane of Vero Beach, FL; Marie Ann Kane of Westerville, OH; granddaughter Kristen Marie (David) Chambers of Lewis Center,OH; and two great-grandchildren William and Anna Marie Chambers, in addition to many dear nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 14, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls,OH at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
