Obituary of Peyton Lynn Parsons-Duffield

Peyton Lynn Parsons-Duffield, born May 17, 2010, passed away into the arms of the Lord on August 13, 2011. God sent us an angel when he sent us you. You showed us your strength and courage through and through. But as you grew tired, we had to decide to keep our angel here, or let her go by God's side. The hardest thing ever was to say goodbye and not think about you with tears in our eyes. But the thought of you suffering just one more day made all of the sadness go away. We can still see your smile when we close our eyes and we know with God's angels you will fly. Now go be whole and run and play and we will be with you in Heaven one day. Peyton is survived by her parents David Duffield and Brittani Parsons; grandparents John & Sherri Shields, Troy Parsons, Melissa & Bob Yost, and Mike Duffield; great-grandparents Pat & Tom Sears, Jackie Shockey, Marg Haney; aunts & uncles Brandy Parsons, Nathan & Kaylee Sypolt, Cory Yost, and Austin & Ariel Shields; cousin Aiden Sypolt, as well as many other relatives. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all of the doctors, nurses, and caregivers from Interim Home Healthcare, Hospice of Western Reserve, and the Palliative Care Center at Akron Children's Hospital for the loving and heartfelt care that was given to Peyton during her short time with us. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main in Akron. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
