Obituary of Iris L. Halman

Iris L. Halman, 70, passed away unexpectedly on July 12. Born in Green Township on October 13, 1940 to the late Ralph & Ellen Wise, Iris was a lifetime area resident. She was employed at the K-Mart in Tallmadge. In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her beloved husband Eugene in 1992, as well as many siblings. She is survived by her children Michelle (Michael) LaGuardia of Cuyahoga Falls, Matthew (Stacy Johnson) of Akron, and Donna (Eric) Stokes of FL; sisters Eileen & Janet; brother Eugene and close friend Janeen. Iris also leaves behind her precious grandchildren Alyssa, Justin, Michael, Jacob, Joshua, Rebecca, Rachel, and Matthew. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron.
