Obituary of Lois Jean Motz
Lois Jean Motz, 91, passed away May 25, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted
Living where she had resided for the past six years.
She was a wife, mother, painting and tile contractor, real estate
agent, welcome wagon hostess and avid card player. She raised red worms,
meal worms and tropical fish for local businesses. Her enjoyment came
from fishing, boating and winter vacations in her Florida home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Muriel; and husband
of 59 years, William Motz. She is survived by daughters, Carol
Hendrickson and Kathy (Ron) St. Clair; grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Ims,
Jeannine St. Clair, Andrea (Chris) Meffert, and Michael and Andrew
Hendrickson; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Sarah and Lauren Ims and
Christopher, Alexis and Abigail Meffert; and special friends, Sue
Campbell, Terri Yeager, Cheryl Gray and Pat Dame who visited her
frequently to keep her spirits up. Special thanks to the staff of
Sunrise Assisted Living of Cuyahoga Falls and Crossroads Hospice of
Green for their kindness, love and support.

Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron on Tuesday, May
31, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at
10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Mark Ballard, Crossroads Chaplain
officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made
