Obituary of James Henry Braun
James H. Braun, of Kent, formerly of Akron, died May 3, 2011.
Mr. Braun retired after 30 years with the East Ohio Gas Company where he was a customer service supervisor. He was also a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was an active member of the St. John's Parish where he was a Eucharistic minister.
He will join his wife, Lela; and sons, Stephen and Edward (Carol) who preceded him in death. He is survived by sons, Kenneth (Diana) of Midlothian, VA., Ronald (Lynda) of Akron and Gary (Carolyn) of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Christopher (Shireen) of New York, N.Y., Jeffrey (Amy) of Raleigh, N.C., Erin and Lori of Charlotte, N.C.; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 6th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, Ohio. Funeral Mass will be said Saturday, May 7th at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron, Ohio at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
