Obituary of Christine Mesaros

Christine Mesaros, 47, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2011. Born in Victorville, CA on August 25, 1963 to Jon and Sandra Garey, Christine had been an Akron area resident for most of her life. She was a 1981 graduate of North High School and later graduated from the University of Akron. She was currently attending Walsh University. Christine was a member of the Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church. Christine was devoted mother, whose life revolved around raising her children. Christine was preceded in death by her brothers Timothy and Andrew Garey. She is survived by her parents Sandra Garey & Jon (Deborah) Garey; children Matthew, Katie, Christopher, Sarah, and Rachel Alto; siblings Jon (Michelle) Garey, Lynn (Steve) Testa, Michelle (Alex) Papp, Jeffrey (Jennifer Beurger) Garey, Lisa (Troy) Holm, and Karen (Jay) Macko. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted by Fr. David Halaiko on Friday at 9:00 am at the Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, where the family will receive guests at the church following the service. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness 747 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43205.
