Obituary of Donald G. Jones

Donald (Donnie) G. Jones, Jr., 49, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Don G. Sr. and Helen (Nimer) Jones; grandfather Artel Jones, grandmother Adel Nimer and special friend Nancy Scott. Donnie leaves behind his special "K9" "lumps ofsugar" Sandy and Queenie.He is survived by brother Todd (Karen) Jones of Stow; sister Kim (Ron) Fast of Akron; nephew Ron (Jamie) Fast and their children Ethan and Isabelle, all of Akron; niece Tara (Chris) Gemmell of Akron; uncle William 'Bill' Nimer; grandmother Juanita Jones of Stow; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donnie spent most of his life in Clovis and Fresno CA. as a self-employed painter.He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing with his dogs.He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends Sunday 4 to 6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St., Akron and will be followed at 6:00 pm by a Remembrance Service at the funeral home.
