Obituary of Raymond Joseph Turk

GREEN - Raymond J. Turk, 90, passed away Saturday March 26, 2011. Ray was born November 13, 1920 to Joseph and Paulene (Konte) Turk in Cleveland and lived in Willoughby from 1961 until moving to Green in 1997. He retired from Kennametal Inc. in 1983. He was US Army veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and was a 15 gallon blood donor for the Red Cross. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Balog), father of Clarice (Martin) McNeill of Green, Ohio, grandfather of Nicholas R. McNeill of Orlando, Fla. and Michael T. McNeill of Columbus. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:45 Am at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd.(on the roundabout at Massillon and Steese Rds. in Green, entrance off Steese Road) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 Am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
