Obituary of Antoinette Hayes

Antoinette Kowalik Hayes PHOENIX, Arizona - Antoinette Hayes, 95, died peacefully and surrounded by family at her home on Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was born in Connersville, Ohio, and had a career as a hairdresser and was active in her church and community. She loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. She enjoyed travel and visited places from Alaska to Spain, and most recently the Grand Canyon. Most of all she enjoyed socializing with family and friends! She is survived by her sister Dorothy Smith; nieces and nephew Debi (Keven) Siegert, Millie Halamay, Pauline (Harold) Miller, William (Fran) Kowalik and many other family members. Funeral services and reception will be held Friday, March 4, at 10:30a.m., at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 3204 Ridgewood Road, Akron, Ohio.
