Obituary of Theresa Scofido

-CUYAHOGA FALLS Theresa Scofido, 92, went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2011. Born on March 5, 1918 to the late George & Catherine Crimi, Theresa had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident for most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Ladies Guild & the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of both the Cuyahoga Falls Cancer Club & Widow's Club. She also served for over 25 years as a volunteer at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1993; sister Angie Mungo and brothers Frank & Nick Crimi. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Anne & Joe Maite, Joan & Phil Romanoski, and Cathy & Bill Leach; 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, & 3 great-great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. David McCarthy on Saturday, at 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church on 2nd St. in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
