Cora Amy Demchock Cora Amy Demchock, 88, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 10. Born in Cleveland on October 27, 1922 to the late Orel and Latrisha Van Hook, Cora had been a lifetime Akron resident. In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by her husband Andy, grandson David, and sisters Tillie, Eleanor, and Marie. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Barbara of Uniontown & James & Joy of NC; daughter and son-in-law Mona & David Reynolds of N. Canton; sisters Betty Bowersox of Clinton & Carol (Gerald) Knight of Akron; 8 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends starting at noon until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
