Obituary of Dorothy A. Lenz

GREEN - Dorothy A.‭ (‬Lessnick‭) ‬Lenz,‭ ‬72,‭ ‬passed away suddenly February‭ ‬2,‭ ‬2011. Dorothy was born June 10, 1938 to Michael and Katherine Lessnick in Coral,‭ ‬PA and had been Green resident for over‭ ‬50‭ ‬years.‭ ‬She worked in the area as an administrative assistant for several years until eventually becoming a devout mother to three boys.‭ ‬She was elected and served on the Democratic Election Board for over twenty years.‭ ‬She was a faithful spouse to the late Philip G.‭ ‬Lenz for‭ ‬37‭ ‬years and kept a watchful eye over her grandchilden whom she loved.‭ ‬She was a founding member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Dorothy is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law,‭ ‬Brian and Dawn Lenz of Ashland,‭ ‬Mark and Jennifer Lenz of Uniontown ‬and Philip and Lana Lenz of‭ ‬Nebraska‭; ‬grandsons,‭ ‬Derek and Nathan‭; ‬granddaughters,‭ ‬Alexis and Mara. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:45 Am at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd. (corner of Massillon and Steese Rds. in Green, entrance off Steese) followed by Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (noon) at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd. in Green.
