Obituary of Patricia Lynn Jenkins

Patricia Lynn Jenkins Patricia Lynn Jenkins, 64, went home to be with the Lord on January 26, in Barberton. Born in Akron on August 6, 1946 to the late Alvin & Hazel Thompson, Pat was a lifetime area resident. She was a 1964 graduate of Kenmore High School and graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing at Akron City Hospital. She retired from Barberton Citizen's Hospital, where she worked for 42 years as an RN. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her grandson Branden Jenkins. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Ervin of Louisville & Lori Jenkins of Akron; sister Dorothy Mattson of Tallmadge; grandchildren Mandi Tyson, Justin Ervin, Cory Tyson, and Jack Jenkins, all of Akron, as well as her beloved cat, Zorro. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
