Obituary of Sharon Angeline Schmidt

Together Again Sharon (Gialofos) Schmidt, 63, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. Sharon was born February 7, 1947 to Earl and Irene Boling in Akron and had been an area resident her entire life. She was employed by United Van Lines for over 20 years retiring in 2000. Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Giafolos in 1993 and is survived by her son William W. (Shandra) Schmidt, Jr.; grandchildren William W. Schmidt III, Michael Schmidt, Carolyn Schmidt, and Maryn and Jacob Dempsey; sisters Alice (Dan) Steele and Diane Boling. A Remembrance Service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Green Chapel, 4178 Massillon Rd. (on the roundabout at Massillon and Steese Rds. in Green, entrance off Steese).
