Obituary of Evelyn Miller
Evelyn Miller, 97, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011.
She was born in Akron. She was an avid fisherman enjoying fishing in Canada, an avid gardener known for her roses, and she enjoyed baking and was known for her exceptional strudel. Special thank you to all of the workers at Barberton Manor Care for all of their hugs and kisses that they generously bestowed upon her. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping, we have you in our heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; 12 siblings; and grandchildren, Suzanna and Gary Jackson and Steven Ulichney. She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Edward) Ulichney, Patsy Ernsberger and Geraldine (Gerald) Plehn; grandchildren, Michael, Cheryl, Diana, Timothy, Lori, Wendy and Darlene; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Rev. Max Beery officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
