Obituary of Michael A. Good

Michael A. Good, 58, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. He was born in Akron and retired from the Teamster's Union after 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Mr. Good was a soccer referee for 16 years, did volunteer work for youth soccer and was the Ohio High School Soccer Referee Assigner. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was a die hard local and Cleveland sports fan. Family was very important to him, especially his two grandchildren whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty (Waite) Good; and sister, Donna Weston. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Becky (Rizzo); sons, Ryan and Brandon (Sarah) Good; grandchildren, Luca and Averie; brother, Charles (Beverly) Good; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Louise Wetshtein; and many good friends. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (PROCESSION TO FORM AT THE CHURCH). Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
