Obituary of Alverta L. Kolarik

Alverta L. Kolarik, 91, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010. She was born in Pennsylvania and was a member of Hope United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Firestone VFW Post 3383 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice (Arbaugh) McClellan; first husband, Arthur Cunningham; second husband, Steve Kolarik; son, Kenneth Cunningham; and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Karen (Roger) Hughes, Barbara (Mike) Collett and Gail (Bill) Myers; grandchildren, Kim and Michael Collett, Melissa and Joey Hughes and Todd Myers; great-grandchildren, Ashley Hughes, Andrew Burns and Tara Collett; great-great-granddaughter, Mylanah Collett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Rev. G. Thomas Badanjek officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hope United Methodist Church, 2650 Cory Ave. Akron, Ohio 44314.
