Obituary of Othella 'Toody' Derreberry

Othella "Toody" Derreberry, 89, passed away Friday, December 03, 2010 at her home after a brief illness. She was born May 11, 1921 to Anthony and Laura Huber in Akron and had been an area residence her entire life. She was a 1939 graduate of Stow High School. Toody was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and a member of the Church Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and siblings Marie Kohlruss, Dorothy Rohrbaugh, and John Huber; and is survived by her sons and their wives Danny and Jean and Lanny and Brenda; and her grandson Brian and his wife Margie Derreberry. Family is especially grateful for the tender care and kindness shown her by staff and residents at Mulberry Place. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 s. Main St. (please note new address). Interment will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 3 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Oak Hill Church.
