Obituary of Frank A. Mungo
Frank A. Mungo, 72, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
He was born in Akron and had been a salesman for Don Joseph Toyota. Frank loved his family; He was the glue that held them together. He loved working on cars and enjoyed helping his friends to repair theirs. He also enjoyed yardwork and was an avid sports fan.
He was preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Rosalie (DeSario) Mungo; son, James; and brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mildred; sons, Mark (Donna), Michael (Julie) and Matthew; daughter, Melissa Lisy; sisters, Marlene (Bernie) Schaber and Sandy (Ronald) Williamson; sister-in-law, Donna (Ed) Heid; grandchildren, Riley, Tyler, Jacob, Hanna, Emily, Max and Colin; and his pet cat, Pepper.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, www.anthonyfh.com)
