Obituary of Paul Michael Stresnak
Paul M. Stresnak, 76, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 in the arms of his loving wife, Marlene.
He was born September 3, 1934 to Michael and Elizabeth (Felber) Stresnak in Akron and has been a Green
resident for 45 years. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Jednota Branch 553. He was employed by BF Goodrich Tire and Rubber Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1994.
Paul was led an active life. He loved to golf (never had a hole in one, but he never quit trying), swimming (had a backyard pool for 32 years), and fishing (especially on Paul Jr.'s boat). He wanted to get well so he could get back to his friends at the North Canton YMCA as well as to swim again.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Marlene (Carter); his children Michelle (Michael) Wintrow, Paul (Holly) Stresnak, Jr., Cathy (Eric) Lamb and Joe (Leanne) Stresnak; grandchildren Michael Wintrow II, Matthew Wintrow and Zachary and Victoria Elizabeth Lamb.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:45 Am at the Anthony and Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (on the roundabout in Green; entrance on Steese Rd. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 3 to 6 Pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Queen of Heaven Church.
