Obituary of Florence Marie Kelly
Florence Marie Kelly, 94, passed away on November 28, in Hartville.
Born in Greensburg, OH on March 7, 1916, Florence had been a lifetime Akron resident. She worked as a sales clerk for O'neils, retiring with 28 years of service. She was a faithful and active member of the Arlington Church of the Nazarene, where she served on the Missionary Council. She was a member of the Springfield Senior Citizen Club and the 'Sunshine Committee'.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Emma Feller; husbands Royle Corrigan Sr. in 1966 and Eugene Kelly in 1982; brother Loren Feller and sisters Margaret Watson, Leona Feller, and Thelma Boatner. She is survived by her sons Royle (Geneva) & William (Pauline) Corrigan, all of Green; sister Catherine Rekettye; 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many special nieces and nephews. Florence is also survived by her step-children Barbara Yukie, Dorothy Clark, and Charles Kelly, as well as 9 step-grandchildren & 18 step-great-grandchildren.
The family would also like to extend a personal thanks to caregiver Anita Wilson, for time spent with their mother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Arlington Church of the Nazarene, 1057 Triplett Blvd. in Akron. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arlington Church of the Nazarene 1057 Triplett Blvd. Akron, oh 44306.
