Obituary of Mary Kost

-ATWATER Mary Kost, 87, passed away on November 24, in Atwater. Born in Dover, OH on November 19, 1923 to the late Alexander and Mary Ivan, Mary has lived in Atwater since 1968 where she helped to operate the family business, Atwater Nursery with her husband Ted and their two sons. She was a member of the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church in Akron. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kost was preceded in death by her grandson Alex and sister Leona Kurilovchan. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Theodore of Atwater; sons and daughters-in-law Theodore T. & Lois and Timothy & Liesa Kost, all of Atwater; sister Irene Pawliczka of Cleveland; grandchildren Melissa, Jaclyn, Danielle ,and Timothy Jr(TJ) Kost; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a Parastas will take place at 7:30 pm. A Divine Liturgy will take place on Saturday at 10:00 am at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church on Brown St. in Akron. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
