Obituary of Jeffrey K. Estep
Jeffrey K. Estep, 55, died in his home in Green, Ohio on November 15th with his loving wife and family by his side. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma "Sue" Estep of St. Albans, WV. He leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Debbie Estep of Green, OH.. .Father and Step-Mother, Keith and Kitty Estep of Hurricane, WV.. .Brother ad his wife and niece and nephew, Alan, Kim, Kaitlyn, and Nathan of Apex, NC.. .Mother and Father in laws, Juanita and Jim Cunningham of Charleston, WV.. .Brother in law and his wife and family, Mike and Renee Goodwin and 4 children of Killeen, TX. . .Brother in law and his wife and family, Bobby and Oreta Cunningham and 3 children of Charleston, WV.
Jeff was a graduate of St. Albans High School and West Virginia University. He was thrilled his senior year to be a student manager on the WVU football team and an avid Mountaineer fan.
He was a Vice-President at FirstMerit Bank in Akron, where he was a dedicated employee, trusted boss, and respected peer.
Jeff survived melanoma in 2003 but discovered three months ago that it had metastasized to his brain and lungs. He co-chaired the Survivor events for Relay for Life in Canton and was always generous with his time. He was a Methodist and a Mason who belonged to Washington Lodge #58 in St. Albans, WV.
Jeff said he had "No Regrets" in his life. He said that he had been a true and faithful husband, a loving son and brother, loved his life and friends, and that he knew he had another job waiting for him...being a Guardian Angel to his family and friends.
Jeff was right.. .he was all those things and more to those who were blessed to know him. May God greet him with open arms and prepare him for his new profession. We will always love and miss him very much.
The family will receive friends TONIGHT 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anthony & Biscan Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road (at the intersection of Steese and Massillon Roads in Green). Funeral services will be held at Cook Funeral Home, 2002 Twentieth St., Nitro, WV 25143. Visitation will be on Friday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. and the service will be at 11:00 a.m.
